Watch Care Recommendations
The lifespan of a POSAN watch begins with its development and is meticulously crafted to last for generations. As the guardian of your watch, here are some important care tips to keep it looking its best for decades to come, for your eventual heirs.

User Guide
Our User Guides provide detailed instructions to help you fully understand and master the functions of your watch and the care requirements for each model. These guides are designed to help you preserve the precision and heritage of your watch by stepping through its functions, settings, and maintenance methods.

Watch Settings
To ensure your watch operates properly, we recommend setting it according to the instructions in the User Guide. After each operation, ensure that the winding crown and push-pieces (if any) are fully tightened and fully secured.
The Importance of Maintenance
Maintenance
Whether your watch ultimately requires an overhaul, repair, or restoration, regular maintenance is crucial to ensuring its longevity. Quartz and mechanical watches with both manual-winding and automatic-winding movements should be serviced every eight to ten years by an official service center or authorized retailer.

Manual-Winding Movement
Manual-winding watches are best wound every morning. This optimizes the movement's operation during the day and reduces sensitivity to shocks and position changes. Regular maintenance is also essential to keep the movement running smoothly over the long term.

Quartz Movement
The battery life of a quartz movement is two to three years. To replace the battery in a quartz watch, please visit one of our official service centers or authorized retailers for "basic maintenance."
Ensuring the Lifespan of Your Watch
To ensure the lifespan and performance of your watch, we recommend minimizing exposure to shock, prolonged vibration, extreme temperature fluctuations, and magnetic fields.

Water Resistance
Please consult the relevant user guide to confirm whether your watch is water-resistant.

Metal Strap
To prevent premature wear, ensure your watch's metal strap is adjusted to the correct wrist size. To protect the strap and case, avoid wearing jewelry on the same wrist, as this may further wear the strap. Additionally, rinse your watch with clean water after any contact with salt water or chlorinated pool water.
